This year's Black History Month theme was centered around health and wellness and what that looks like within the black community. We asked Black-Ink, Movable Ink's ERG for black employees, how to define what wellness means to them and how they encapsulate it into their everyday lives. From mental awareness and realigning your energy to self-care, there are many ways to create a space for wellness. Mental and physical health within the black community have been treated as taboo for a very long time. But as generations have passed, there is more awareness about what wellness means and looks like in our communities. This helps us focus on how we can break patterns and take our health into our own hands with the hope that this work continues for generations to come.
