February was a short but mighty month filled with events that brought us closer as an organization. Between the acquisition of Coherent Path and welcoming over 50 new Inkers aboard, there was no shortage of excitement.
As the months go by, we strive to find unique ways of bringing Inkers together to create lasting memories and stronger bonds. This is how we did it in February:
Hand-Pulled Noodles Class
Movable Ink’s ERG, Movable Ink Asians (MIA), hosted a hand-pulled noodles class for a belated Lunar New Year celebration. Inkers were told, “the longer the noodle, the longer the life” and they indeed listened.
Wine Tasting
When there’s an Inker who doubles as a sommelier, throwing a wine tasting event is mandatory. Senior Client Experience Manager at Movable Ink, Katrina Hefele, hosted an hour-long class teaching Inkers how to distinguish the taste of wine based on region. Who knew there are so many differences between a French and California chardonnay?
Celebrating Black History Month
To celebrate Black History Month, Black Ink hosted several events throughout February to educate Inkers on the influence of notable black figures, literature, and television shows, through Slack trivia and virtual bingo.
Workplace Experience Appreciation
From Costa Rica, San Francisco, and London all the way to New York City, our Workplace Experience team reunited for the first time since the pandemic began. Without these Inkers, none of the incredible events that are planned and executed monthly would be possible. We appreciate the hard work and dedication they put in each day to make Movable Ink the best place to work.
