Movable Ink is aware of a recent security event involving a vendor, Cyberhaven, that we utilize. Following a thorough investigation, we have found no evidence that Movable Ink systems or data were impacted by this incident. This update is provided for transparency and to address any potential questions from our clients.

Although we were not among the clients contacted by Cyberhaven, based on proactive threat intelligence, Movable Ink initiated an internal investigation into potential exposure on December 26 at 7:31 PM UTC. At no point during the course of our investigation efforts did we identify any indicators of compromise or unauthorized access to our systems or data, whether from active investigation and comprehensive log reviews, or from any of our security systems configured to alert us of anomalous activity.

On December 27, Cyberhaven published an update in which it provided further details. These details included that the attack was specifically designed to target Facebook-related authentication and session data—which Movable Ink does not use as a part of providing its services to our clients. This new information helped further confirm that the incident had not impacted Movable Ink systems or data.
