IN A NUTSEHLL

  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects AI to your marketing tools so they can work together.
  • Marketers can take action with simple prompts, from pulling data to managing campaigns.
  • Movable Ink’s MCP connects to 50+ APIs across Da Vinci and Studio.
  • Built-in guardrails keep teams in control while AI helps get the work done.

The Missing Piece in Your AI-Fueled Marketing Engine

Marketers have spent the last few years loading up their tech stacks with AI, adopting everything from writing tools and image generators to analytics platformsBut there's a persistent gap: those tools don't understand your campaigns, creatives, or customer data. They're powerful in isolation, but  disconnected from the platforms where your marketing actually lives.

That's exactly the problem Movable Ink's new MCP integration is built to solve.

‍

MCP Explained: Why It Matters for Marketers

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, and it's quickly becoming the standard way enterprise software connects to AI. Think of it as a universal plug: instead of building a custom connection between every platform and AI tool, an MCP gives your AI assistant one standardized way to access and interact with an external system.

Capabilities through an MCP typically fall into three buckets: reading data, completing actions, and running workflows. In practice, that means  a marketer using Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI client can query information, build campaigns, and execute work inside Movable Ink without switching tabs or writing a single line of code.

‍

What Movable Ink’s MCP Makes Possible

Movable Ink's MCP Server exposes 50+ APIs across eight areas   of Da Vinci, covering everything from user and account management to creative workflows, audience data, campaign operations, and reporting.

Using simple conversational prompts, marketers can:

  • Fetch, duplicate, approve, reject, archive, or proof creatives in the Creative Library
  • Manage users, roles, and account settings
  • Auto-schedule campaigns, duplicate them, manage status, and send proofs
  • Pull aggregated campaign, creative, and subject line analytics
  • Query audience details and interact with data jobs and connections
  • Access and update Brand Kit assets

On the Studio side, the MCP covers campaign templates, deployments, tactics, dynamic fields, integrations, and data exports, all through the same conversational interface.

‍

The Bigger Picture: Headless Marketing Operations

The MCP enables what we call a headless approach. Marketers can keep using the AI tools they already work with, while execution stays governed and brand-consistent inside Movable Ink. External AI models only execute pre-approved workflows, so you get the speed of AI automation without sacrificing control.

This is part of Movable Ink's broader Agentic Orchestration Platform, which extends the Programmatic CRM approach we introduced at Think Summit NYC to owned channels. The goal is to give AI tools secure, governed access to the platforms where your marketing is built, so teams can move faster while keeping their focus  on business impact.

Both the Da Vinci and Studio MCP are available today. Both are included in existing packages, no additional contract required.
