Movable Ink Continues Exceeding Sales Expectations

The first half of 2021 was a highwater mark for Movable Ink, ending in a third straight record-setting quarter and exceeding 68% of year over year incremental bookings for H1 while increasing mobile bookings by 81%. We’ve grown exponentially in 2021, adding key personnel in the United States and abroad. Movable Ink has added 120 people this year, bringing the total number to more than 400 globally. As the business steams ahead, we look back as simultaneously prepare for a fruitful second half of the year.

“This is an exciting time at Movable Ink as the marketing landscape continues to evolve and its leaders are leaning into activating first-party data in their personalization strategies more than ever before,” said Vivek Sharma, CEO & co-founder of Movable Ink.

Movable Ink has devoted time and resources to mobile personalization and a new commercial sales division that focuses on high-growth consumer brands that are often digital natives with a deep understanding of digital marketing and personalization. Both sectors have achieved outsized success through the first half of 2021. Mobile growth was accelerated by key new client acquisitions and expanded partnerships, which include Hewlett-Packard, Intuit QuickBooks, HibbetSports, SoulCycle, and Chief. The commercial sales team added direct-to-consumer companies as clients this year such as Spring and BodyBuilding.com.

Now, Movable Ink is preparing to finish out 2021 with contributions from our new German and Austrian teams, an expanded EMEA team, and executive appointments that will help the business grow in key sectors. Nilay Gandhi was announced earlier this year as the Vice President of Corporate Development, bringing more than two decades experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisition. Adam Stambleck was also elevated from Chief Revenue Officer, where he oversaw Movable Ink’s three most successful sales quarters, to the company’s first President & Chief Customer Officer.
