Canadian Tire drove engagement across their beloved Triangle program using Movable Ink to generate a hyper-personalized monthly newsletter to reach a segment of their 11 million Triangle members. The newsletter displays the recipient’s account statement but also highlights the benefits of the product, which perks have been redeemed, and how many are left outstanding (i.e., free shipping). 

To encourage discovery and cross-promote between the retail banners within the Canadian Tire family (i.e., Marks, SportChek, and Triangle), the newsletter also offers recommendations based on their previous shopping behavior. The entire email is customized to each recipient and can easily be translated into English and French.

When data is transformed into engaging creative, success follows. This campaign drove an open rate of 85.5%, a CTOR of 7.5%, and an unsubscribe rate of less than 0.01%.
