If you’re new around here, we have an employee resource group that aims to inspire, engage, and inform LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. Inklusive plans a variety of events that help make Movable Ink a workplace where LGBTQ+ individuals can share their stories with their peers, and today we’re sharing how our offices celebrated Pride month.
DIY tie-dye shirts
Not even the rain could keep us from celebrating. Our UK offices kicked off the month with a tie-dye t-shirt event.
Movie night
In our New York office, Inklusive hosted movie night where Inkers were able to watch “Life Partners” while snacking on candy and popcorn.
Pride happy hour
During our New York Pride happy hour, employees got a chance to meet fellow Inkers and celebrate with pronoun buttons, desk decor, drinks, and plenty of food.
LGBTQI history tour
Our San Francisco office went on an LGBTQI history walking tour throughout the city.
Rainbow bagels
We love a good bagel breakfast, and on June 21st, we celebrated with rainbow bagels from a Baz Bagel, local LGBTQ+ -owned store.
Inklusive goes to a musical
Inklusive hosted an outing to a Broadway musical – The Prom – to lead up to the march.
World Pride March
Inkers who were in New York were particularly excited, because it was the first time World Pride has ever been held in the US and we were able to march together. Movable Ink had the honor of closing out the World Pride as the final group to march!
