Family-friendly TV network INSP wanted to drum up excitement for the series premiere of State Plate, a new show featuring American Idol winner Taylor Hicks traveling from state to state sampling local cuisine. INSP needed to boost click-through rates with an incredibly tight turnaround time.
INSP used Movable Ink to add a live poll to an email that encouraged subscribers to vote for the state they were most excited to see Taylor visit. The email visualized real-time voting tallies for each state, providing social proof to encourage engagement. And, when subscribers chose a state, they were taken to that state’s page where they could learn more about the show. The poll not only came together in just a few days, it was one of the network’s most successful campaigns.
Highest CTR ever
This interactive poll resulted in the highest click-through rate for a tune-in newsletter that we’ve ever had. In addition, it provided us valuable data as to which episodes our viewers were most interested in. It was really very impressive.
