Movable Ink is seeking a rockstar, go-getter Payroll Manager, who’s eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization. Reporting to the Controller, this role will own both accounting and operational duties within Movable Ink's Payroll function.  

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the payroll processing of all Movable Ink locations (US, Canada, UK, Australia, Costa Rica)
  • Manage and Maintain Movable Ink's HRIS system - including system integrations with ADP
  • Set up, process, and maintain changes to an employee’s voluntary and involuntary deductions such as direct deposits and benefits
  • Prepare payroll funding requests 
  • Responsible for 401k and other employee deduction Funding 
  • Prepare Payroll Journal Entries 
  • Assist in the Compensation plan preparation for Non-Sales/CX employees
  • Maintain various payroll schedules and reconciliations for Accounting Department 
  • Assist Controller in various audits (401k, workers compensation, etc) 
  • Manage the Time and Attendance system for Non-Exempt Employees
  • Point of Contact for all employee payroll inquires  
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a fast-paced, growing start-up is a plus
  • Prior experience with ADP (strong systems skills)
  • ADP Workforce Now Experience
  • Experience processing payroll of +200 employees in multiple locations
  • Ability to multi-Task and meet strict deadlines
  • 5+ years of Payroll management experience
  • Ability to execute, follow-up, and ensure attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Word) is required
