Senior Vice President Engineering
Lee is a veteran engineer with broad experience and a track record of success in leading and mentoring agile software development teams. As VP of Engineering for Movable Ink, he oversees all development efforts in building product and business solutions.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, Lee was Managing Director of Weplay East, an online youth sports community. Before Weplay, Lee worked as a Senior Engineer at Oxygen Media and Chyron Corporation. Lee graduated as a double-major in Math and Computer Science at The State University of New York at Stonybrook.
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Michael is the engineer behind the biggest innovation in email marketing today. One of the most respected hackers in the start-up scene, Michael oversees product strategy, development, and implementation as Movable Ink's CTO.
Prior to co-founding Movable Ink, Michael held senior software development positions at Gilt Groupe and Limewire, managing complex technology projects of massive scale. Michael graduated with a BS in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University and remains an active contributor to Open Source and Ruby on Rails community projects.
Director at Intel Capital
Christine Herron is a Director at Intel Capital, where she invests in Internet and digital services companies. At Intel, Christine has led investments including betaworks, E la Carte, Goldbely, Jelli, Movable Ink, and Storenvy.
She previously was an investor at First Round Capital and Omidyar Network, working with companies such as Double Verify, Get Satisfaction, Mint, and Common Sense Media. At Geocapital Partners, Christine funded Netcom and AXON Networks, two key builders of Internet infrastructure. She was also a hands-on operator at Mission Research and NetObjects, and was the founder and CEO of e-commerce SaaS vendor Mercury2. Christine works as an active catalyst for startup teams, and is an enthusiastic advisor to both 500 Startups and StartX.
Managing Partner at Contour Venture Partners
Matt is a Managing Partner and Co-founder of Contour Venture Partners and is focused on investments in early stage financial services and SaaS/tech enabled companies. Matt was previously part of the launch team at Promontory Interfinancial Network, a FinTech startup, and before that worked at Red Hat.
Earlier in his career he was at Morgan Stanley within its financial services focused venture capital fund and was a turnaround consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Matt is the founder of a nonprofit organization, StreetWise Partners, and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia Business School.
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Vivek is leading the charge to make email a more dynamic and relevant communication channel for marketers and consumers. With a background in both sales and product development, Vivek brings a potent combination of engineering talent and business savvy to his role as Movable Ink's CEO.
Prior to co-founding Movable Ink, Vivek headed Eastern North American and EMEA sales for Engine Yard. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Blue Martini and Cisco Systems. Vivek graduated with a BS in Computer Science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Vice President Strategy
Rob seeks to help marketers bring the power of content and context to customer experiences. With a background in digital marketing, market research, and marketing technology strategy, Rob brings his passion for the transformation of marketing to his role as Movable Ink's Vice President of Strategy.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, Rob oversaw product and strategy for StrongView Systems, a leading email service provider. Before StrongView, Rob was Principal Analyst for enterprise marketing technologies at Forrester Research. Rob holds a MA in Philosophy of Science from Indiana University and a BS in Physics from Clemson University.
Chief Revenue Officer
For over 15 years, Adam has worked with the world's leading brands to understand their goals and drive results-focused digital marketing programs. Adam's organization is focused on ensuring every client succeeds -- by solving challenges, building deep trust, and delivering sustainable results. As CRO, Adam is responsible for worldwide sales, partnerships, and our industry-leading Client Experience team.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, Adam was vice president of client services at Yesmail Interactive. Adam graduated with a BS in Marketing and International Business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, John is focused on making the Movable Ink financial engine hum with timely, insightful analysis and strategic vision. With extensive experience in both large corporations and high growth start-ups, he has a steady hand on financial analysis, strategic planning, accounting, legal and operations.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, John was Chief Financial Officer of Yodle Inc. where he led the successful $342 million sale to Web.com. Prior to Yodle, he held financial leadership roles at American Express and BMW. John graduated with a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan and holds an MBA in Finance from NYU.
Vice President Partnerships
Larry is focused on leveraging the partner ecosystem (Digital Agencies, System Integrators, Technology companies) in the marketplace to expand Movable ink's footprint across the digital marketing enterprise. With 20 years experience in running global partnerships, he oversees all partnership activities for the company to drive net new sales, geographic expansion, and joint solutions
Prior to Movable ink, Larry held leadership positions at Adobe, 3Com, and Intel. Larry holds a BA in American Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz and a Masters in International Management from the University of California at San Diego's school of Global Policy and Strategy.
As General Counsel, Michelle advises Movable Ink's leadership team on a variety of legal and business issues and oversees the legal function, including commercial, corporate, product and privacy matters.
Most recently Michelle was Associate General Counsel of Yodle, where she played a critical role in the sale of Yodle to Web.com, in addition to handling other corporate and commercial affairs. She started her legal career as a corporate associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart before assuming in-house legal positions at TruFund Financial and Lawyers Alliance for New York.
Former President of Shutterstock
Thilo has been involved in technology ventures for over 25 years, most recently as President and COO of Shutterstock (NYSE: SSTK), a global marketplace for licensing creative assets to businesses worldwide. Under Thilo’s leadership, Shutterstock grew to over $300M in revenue and expanded into new areas, including video, music, and premium imagery. Shutterstock completed a successful IPO in October 2012.
Previously, Thilo focused on Consumer and Technology strategy at The Boston Consulting Group, including the launch Sotheby’s online auction business in 1999. In 2000, Thilo co-founded and was President & COO of WeightWatchers.com, which became the global leader in online weight loss. He then served as COO of Weight Watchers International through 2008.
Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Jeremy loves working with email marketers to solve the personalization and automation challenges they face using Movable Ink’s unique combination of technology and services. As Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Jeremy is laser-focused on generating additional ROI from email marketing programs.
Prior to Movable Ink, Jeremy led Business Development for Wrapp, a unique platform designed for social & mobile customer acquisition and retention marketing, and served as the VP of Sales for CleanEdison, the largest provider of sustainability education in the United States. Jeremy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, and earned his MBA in Entrepreneurship and International Business Strategy as Valedictorian from Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.
Head of Data Science
Mark strives to unlock the power of Movable Ink’s data to enrich the customer experience. With a background in machine learning, data analytics, and 15 years of retail industry experience, he brings with him a unique perspective in applying data science within the marketing space.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, Mark was a leader in Foot Locker’s Data organization focusing on personalization. Before Foot Locker, Mark led the Data Science team at Coach. He graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Dee Anna McPherson
Senior Vice President Marketing
Dee Anna is passionate about technology that helps marketers improve the customer experience. She brings to Movable Ink extensive experience building and scaling high-performance marketing teams and category-defining software brands from early stage through valuations of more than $1 billion.
Prior to Movable Ink, Dee Anna was VP of Marketing at both Hootsuite and Yammer. She also served as President and CMO at mom.life, Partner at Horn Group, Senior Vice President at both Edelman and Ogilvy and head of PR at PeopleSoft. Dee Anna has a BA in Communication from Purdue University.
Senior Vice President Product
Bridget is a deeply experienced mar tech and ad tech veteran with a career focused on leading businesses and customers through the constant evolution in digital marketing. Her customer centric view and 20+ years of experience with software-as-a-service businesses, allow Bridget to deliver innovative solutions with enterprise level scale and performance. As Senior Vice President of Product at Movable Ink, Bridget will lead the ongoing vision and development for Movable Ink’s intelligent content platform.
Bidlack most recently served as Senior Vice President, Global Product at Experian Marketing Services. Prior to that she held leadership roles at Rocket Fuel, [x+1], Turn, and Microsoft. Bidlack holds an MS in Information Systems Science from Salve Regina University and a BBA in Business Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University.
Vice President of Client Experience - North America
Alison Lindland is VP of Client Experience at Movable Ink leading the US based technical account team that supports strategy and implementation in partnership with hundreds of leading client marketing organizations, including many of the the most respect brands in the world. She is proud to be the founder of Movable Pink, the women's employee network.
Prior to Movable Ink she worked in Business Development at American Express OPEN, developing ways to help SMBs market their companies online through programs like "Small Business Saturday" with partners like Facebook. At Amex she also led product management and marketing for the first iPhone App and contributed to mobile strategy projects throughout the global organization. Prior to business school she began her career in tech at OgilvyInteractive and TheaterMania.com/ OvationTix.
She is a graduate of Vassar College and Columbia Business School.
Regional Vice President - EMEA
Matt is a marketing technology expert with extensive experience working with and for both large corporations and innovative start-ups. As VP of Northern Europe, he is responsible for leading Movable Ink's expansion across the region through strategic new business and customer success initiatives.
Prior to Movable Ink, Matt was one of the founding members of CheetahMail in the UK, where he led client services, and more recently product marketing. Matt graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology with a BSc in Analytical Chemistry.
Vice President of People
Sonia is focused on leading Movable Ink's People Team with empathy, ensuring employees are happy, and understanding how they can grow within the company. Sonia has deep expertise in the HR space supporting a variety of different industries both within large blue-chip companies and startups.
Prior to joining Movable Ink, Sonia was the Head of HR for International and Corporate Functions at BuzzFeed. She also held senior leadership global roles at General Electric, Microsoft, and American Express. Sonia graduated with an MBA in HR from the University at Albany.
Head of Design & UX
As Head of Design and UX, Andrea is focused on crafting Movable Ink’s new product strategy, innovation, creative direction, and development.
Prior to joining Movable Ink she was the Chief Design Officer at SimpleReach. She has been a local leader for both the Vancouver and New York branches of the Interaction Design Association, and was the Creative Director of NabeWise, a neighborhood-centric start-up acquired by Airbnb in 2012. Before she got involved in startups she worked on mobile, tablet, and desktop applications for clients including AOL, MoMA, Emily Carr University, Singularity University, The Vancouver Aquarium, and LinkedIn. Andrea recently completed her Executive MBA at Case Western Reserve University and is a graduate of Oberlin College where she designed her own major, Technocultural Studies.
