How do you use email?
Group creators can invite members to their groups via email.
What was your old process for adding dynamic content to your emails?
In the past we were not able to add dynamic content to our emails, so group invites didn't have the real-time conversations embedded into the message. Having the real-time chat in emails creates a more enticing first experience for new GroupMe users and should lead to more click-throughs and accepted invites.
What interested you most about Movable Ink?
The ability to provide a better user experience via live email with extremely simple setup.
How did you implement Movable Ink?
We powered our live email invites by handing movable ink a URL and rendering the contents of the chat through our web app. Movable ink then translates that content to a live image. It couldn't be easier.
What were the results?
The result was a better user experience, with little integration or capital expenditure. That's a win for us and our users, no need to run any A/B testing.
