What does Double Cross Vodka do?

Double Cross Vodka is an ultra-premium vodka produced in small batches in a 13th-century village in the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia. Double Cross is made with estate-grown winter wheat and pure mountain spring water. Each batch is seven-times distilled and seven-times filtered resulting in an award-winning vodka of unrivaled taste and character. Double Cross was awarded 95 points in Wine Enthusiast magazine and two gold medals at the World Spirits Competition. It is available in more than 30 states around the U.S. with its largest presence in New York City, Boston, Miami and New Jersey.

How do you use email?

We use it (probably way too much) for the usual internal and external communications and for regular e-newsletters to our consumer database.

What interested you most about Movable Ink?

Its ease-of-use and ability to easily tell people where to find Double Cross vodka via newsletters and email signatures. The Twitter function is also cool. And, quite honestly, we like the people behind the company.

How did you implement Movable Ink?

We use it in signatures in company emails and we embed the "find Double Cross" function in our consumer e-newsletters.

What were the results?

They've been overall very positive. I get comments on the Twitter feed function often and can see that many people click the "Find Double Cross" map in the newsletters. It blends in nicely with our overall communications approach.

Are you planning on implementing any other real-time features?

Yes, I am in the process of getting everyone in the company to use the Twitter feed and "Find Double Cross" signature in their own emails (this can take some hand holding) and like the idea of incorporating dynamic content into company signatures as well.
